A local firefighter was injured while fighting one of the 2 fires that broke out near Bonny Doon yestereday morning. That happened while that firefighter was trying to keep a house fire on Warren Drive from spreading to nearby vegetation. That fire was contained to a quarter-acre. The other fire, which burned about an acre, was spotted on Smith Grade as firefighters fought the fire blaze. The cause of both fires is still being investigated.
