With virtually all of the votes now tallied from the March 3rd Primary election in Santa Cruz, 53 percent of the voters voted to remove city councilman Drew Glover from his seat, while 51 percent chose to recall city councilman Chris Krohn. Former Santa Cruz Mayor Katherine Beiers has been elected to serve out the remainder of Krohn’s term while educator Renee Golder has been elected to replace Glover for the rest of his term. The recalled city councilmen are now slated to be formally removed, and the new council members installed during an April 7th special city council meeting.
