2 men were arrested in santa cruz early saturday morning . a c-h-p officer stopped a vehicle for suspected d-u-i at about 1:45 a-m on felker street in santa cruz. as the officer was arresting 46 year old jon allred for suspicion of d-u-i, the passenger in allred’s vehicle became irrate and assaulted the officer. 31 year old ryan rittenhouse was arrested for assaulting an officer, obstructing an arrest and resisting arrest. the 2 men were booked into santa cruz county jail.
