2 people were arrested yesterday morning after a stabbing in Salinas. That after a 20 year-old man was dropped off at Natividad Medical Center just before 2 am. He had cuts to his back and face and told Salinas police officers that he had been “jumped” by several people near the intersection of North Main and Soledad Streets. Known gang members 32-year-old Gabriel Garcia Monteon and 33-year-old Brenda Lua were booked into Monterey County Jail. Monteon was identified as the stabber, while Lua was arrested because she had an outstanding warrant, and was in possession of a 40-caliber Glock (ghost gun), a loaded high-capacity magazine, and controlled substances.
