A man in his 50’s has become Santa Cruz county’s 1st known death to Covid-19. The man was reportedly not a resident of Santa Cruz county when he succumbed to the Coronavirus on Friday at Watsonville Community Hospital. As of today (Saturday March 21, 2020) there are 17 confirmed cases of the virus in Santa Cruz county.
