No structures were damaged and no injuries were reported in connection with a brush fire that burned 17 acres just east of Hollister today. The blaze broke out around 1:30 this afternoon in the 2000 block of Santa Ana Valley Road. Cal-Fire firefighters had it contained by about 2 p.m.
