A 25-year-old seaside man was sentenced this week to 16-months in prison, for animal cruelty. Christopher young was convicted of the charges after being seen abusing a dog in a seaside neighborhood last july. Young was also ordered to pay 72-hundred dollars in restitution, (to cover the dog’s surgery and further care).
