Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article regarding a Japanese study. The found that the faster people ate increased the risk of gaining weight or becoming obese. There were three categories fast eaters, normal eaters and slow eaters. Those that ate normal were 29% less likely to be obese than fast eaters. The slow eaters were 42% less likely to be obese. Others factors that affected weight gain and ability to lose weight. Were whether or not people ate snacks after dinner and eating a snack more than 2 hours before going to sleep.
