a motorist was hospitalized with severe injuries following a collision on highway 101 saturday. the accident took place at around 3:30 p-m near salinas’s airport boulevard exit. the driver of a pick-up truck crashed into a farm truck exiting onto an agricultural access road. the victim was airlifted to a bay area trauma center, the cause of the accident remains under investigation.
