Authorities are investigating the shooting of two vehicles on Highway 101 near Prunedale on Saturday. Shortly after 7a-m, CHP cruisers responded to reports of shots fired at northbound cars near the San Miguel Canyon exit. 2 vehicles have been confirmed to have been struck by gunfire. No one was injured, and the incident is not believed to be related to other incidents of projectile attacks on vehicles in the area.
