A 28 YEAR OLD MOTORCYCLIST FROM MORGAN HILL WAS KILLED IN A CRASH ON HIGHWAY 101 LAST NIGHT (SUNDAY). THE CHAIN-REACTION CRASH OCCURRED AROUND 6 P-M AT THE EAST MIDDLE AVE CROSS-OVER WHEN THE MOTORCYCLIST REPORTEDLY TRIED TO CHANGE LANES, COLLIDED WITH THE SIDE OF THE NISSAN TITAN (DRIVEN BY 37-YEAR OLD LINDA DURAN OF FAIRFIELD), AND THEN A 2006 GMC SIERRA BY A 19-YEAR OLD FROM SALINAS. THE MOTORCYCLIST WAS EJECTED FROM HIS BIKE INTO THE FAST LANE WHERE HE WAS RUN OVER BY AN S-U-V. THE S-U-V DRIVER FLED THE SCENE. THE OTHER DRIVERS WERE NOT INJURED. THE MOTORCYCLIST WAS PRONOUNCED DEAD AT THE SCENE AND HIS NAME HAS NOT YET BEEN RELEASED.
