Although the actual cause of a fatal head-on crash last night in Prunedale is still being investigated, the driver of 1 of the cars has been arrested. 20 year-old Freedom resident Bryan O. Garcia is believed to have been driving under the influence of alcohol when he lost control of his car and it went across the double yellow line on San Miguel Canyon Road, and into the path of oncoming traffic. A female passenger in Garcia’s vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, while another of his passengers, and both drivers, were transported to an area hospital with major injuries.
