THE HOMELESS ISSUE IN GILROY IS ABOUT TO BE LOOKED AT BY GILROY POLICE CHIEF DENISE TURNER. DATA ON THE IMPACT THAT HOMELESSNESS HAS ON POLICE RESOURCES AND THE CITY OF GILROY, WILL BE GATHERED, AND PRESENTED TO THE CITY COUNCIL. TURNER WILL JOIN IN ON A CITY WIDE STAFF MEETING ON APRIL 23RD TO SHARE THE FINDINGS ON THE GATHERED DATA, AND HOPEFULLY PAINT A CLEAR PICTURE OF JUST HOW THIS TRANSIENT AND HOMELESS PROBLEM IS MONOPOLIZING CITY RESOURCES.
