Dr. Joel Wallach begins the show today discussing a news article about ER visits for heart problems. Apparently over the past decade there has been and increase in the admittance of patients under the age of 40 for heart conditions. Doc asserts that this is due to diet and lifestyle. Contending that poor diets can contribute plaque in the arteries leading to heart attacks. Stating that these issues can be reversed through lifestyle and dietary changes and the addition of nutritional supplementation.

Pearls of Wisdom

Doug Winfrey and Dr. Wallach discuss a news article a study from the American Cancer Society. The study of 50,000 people ages 40 to 75 following them for a median of 10 years. Researchers found that those who three or more cups of tea that was 140 degrees F had a 90 percent increased risk of esophageal cancer. They were sure why but speculated that the hot liquid could be damaging cells on an ongoing basis.
